DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

In this Emmy-nominated show open we offered a wickedly funny take on the history of female angst. Iconic imagery is used to convey the anguish of the feminine mind, displaying how women from Eve to the present have chafed under their marital status. The designers' aim goes beyond typical television show opens, which merely introduce the characters and setting. Here familiar historical artwork and icons are employed- and humorously violated- to evoke the show's quirky spirit and playful flaunting of women's traditional role in society.
