Dik Liu is an incredibly talented and devoted painter who has endured a difficult road through life. As a cancer survivor, he sees the world from a unique perspective, creating fine art in his Williamsburg Brooklyn studio in solitude. With formal intellectual training at Yale, Liu speaks about his growth as a painter and how his art has come full circle. yU+co shot and produced this short documentary to promote Dik Liu and his art, a personal piece conceived by his close friend and colleague, Garson Yu.
