Flex Leadership Summit

Client

After the success of last year’s summit, yU+co was asked to come back for Flex’s Leadership Summit 2017. The audience of 400 global senior leaders was surrounded by 14 displays configured seamlessly into an immersive semi-circle 27,000 pixels wide. In order to utilize all areas of this extremely large canvas, we creatively designed our content from a central focal point outward, ensuring the peripheral always supports but never distracts the viewer’s attention. We created several videos designed to illustrate the key themes of the summit. The first, “Imagination,” used abstract and impressionistic 3D imagery to encourage the audience to imagine a better, smarter future,  and how it might be achieved. Next, “Intelligence” employed a combination of live action and motion graphics to explore the meaning of the word “intelligence” in relation to new, real-life innovations in technology across a variety of industries. Finally, we created a customized graphic background for each speaker introduction and topic header, depicting a “digital ecology” of plants, earth, water, and wildlife, comprised entirely of digital lines and dots.

This site-specific experience immersed the audience in 300° of screens featuring inspirational content that reinforced the Flex brand philosophy.
