Lost Souls

In the opening sequence for Lost Souls, an undulating abstract surface gradually becomes apparent as a pool of water. The play of light and darkness across the surface of the water suggests a primordial unity—two opposing forces inextricably bound in unceasing struggle. This conflict is expressed in its most elemental form; black, tar-like liquid convulsions opposed by blinding, rapturous bursts of light.
