Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire
Client
We were delighted to collaborate again with Director Zack Snyder on his latest two-part cinematic space epic, Rebel Moon. The futuristic saga is set in a distant galaxy, where a courageous young woman sets out on a perilous journey across different planets to seek warriors who can aid her in defeating the tyrannical armies terrorizing her peaceful colony. We created customized components for each film: Main Title, locator cards, Main on-end titles, end crawl, and a modified company logo for Stone Quarry. Because there are two parts to the film and two versions of each film (PG-13 and R-rated), we designed 4 different customizations. Part one begins with a sweeping cinematic flight through space and an Anthony Hopkins narration that transports us into the captivating universe of Rebel Moon. The main title is integrated into the scene, with interactive lighting that emanates from the glowing orange planet below. This orange glow became a signature color that we carry through in the end credits’ gradients. To open Part Two, we find our Main Title suspended in space as the camera descends. The signature orange glow illuminates the letters as we fly through them into the opening scene.
