The Fabulous Four

For the Main Titles for The Fabulous Four, we were tasked with designing a sequence that serves a storytelling purpose, establishing the film’s characters, setting, and tone. The Netflix comedy follows four lifelong friends as they rekindle their sisterhood at a college friend’s wedding. To create a sense of nostalgia, we used back-and-white photographs from the actresses’ younger days. Color bleeds in to bring a sense of vibrance to the sequence. Handwritten notes and a voiceover narration establish each character’s unique personality and backstory, setting the stage for the friendship the film explores.
