The Lion King

For The Lion King Main Title, our objective was to craft something that was clean, classic, elegant and, most importantly, befitting of a king. We also created the Main on End sequence, which plays over Sir Elton John's “Never Too Late”.
The weathered stone letters recall Pride Rock, where the lion kings have ruled for generations. A golden hue accents the letters with a regal feeling. We created 3D renders of the letters for a 3D stereo format so they could really stand out against the black background. The letters were hand-painted to give them a graceful, finished look.
