The Monkey King

The Monkey King is a contemporary animated adaptation of a 400-year-old Chinese tale. At the end of the movie, the filmmakers wanted to feature some of the film’s beautiful artwork in the Main on End and End Crawl sequences. We were given access to concept art, and character and background designs from the film in order to craft the credit sequences. Using the production’s original elements, we augmented the pieces with our own animation and designs to create a flowing journey that celebrates the story and creative art of The Monkey King.
