Pirates of the Caribbean

yU+co was invited by Rob Marshall and Jerry Bruckheimer to be part of the filmmaking process on the latest installment of Disney's popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. We created a short but mesmerizing stereoscopic Main Title that hints at elements from the film. The story revolves around the search for the legendary fountain of youth, so the title sets the tone with a mysterious code book, enchanting mermaids, and of course, water. This marks our second collaboration with director Rob Marshall, after Memoirs of a Geisha.
