Watchmen

This 6-minute sequence was conceived and directed by Zack Snyder to set up a foreboding tone for Watchmen. The main characters are introduced in key events from the alternate history of the comic book series. 3D typography is organically incorporated into each scene and bathed in bright yellow to play off the blood spattered happy-face icon that is a key visual component to both the graphic novel and film.
