Bond - No Time To Die AR

yU+co collaborated with MGM to create an experience using the Spark AR platform on Instagram to promote the 25th Bond film, No Time to Die. Launched in the months leading up to the film’s release as part of a wider digital campaign, followers of the Bond Instagram page were able to play with a virtual version of Bond’s classic DB5 in AR space. Once placed into the user’s environment, you could tap on various parts of the car to activate different spy gadgets like tire shredders and ejectors seats, or you could even initiate a dramatic 360 burnout spin, mimicking the memorable stunt featured in the film. Although the Spark AR platform is normally reserved for simpler IG filters and experiences, we squeezed the absolute maximum amount of assets and animations into the experience as possible in order to create an exciting and immersive experience for long-time fans of the Bond franchise.
