Epic

yU+co was honored to work with Chris Wedge and the Blue Sky Studios creative team to design a Main on End sequence for their gorgeous CG animated adventure, Epic. We wanted the sequence to be focused on simplicity, using shadows to allude to the magical creatures that populate the film. This allowed audiences to build out scenes in their own imagination, prompting them to continue the story outside when they get home. Our camera movement is subtle and calm, challenging viewers to make what they might think mundane, magical.
