Fire Country

For Jerry Bruckheimer’s new CBS series, Fire Country, we were tasked with creating a short, but powerful opening that would evoke the extreme and dramatic world of convict firefighters in the forests of Northern California. For them, everyday is literally a trial by fire. To survive this crucible, they are forced to work together, forging the strong bonds of a unique brotherhood. As the main title resolves, we see their silhouettes, distorted by intense heat, move slowly across the frame, until the screen grows hotter still and blanches white.
