Superior Donuts

For the CBS series “Superior Donuts”, yU+co developed a Main Title sequence that establishes the history of the Chicago donut shop. We fabricated a long-form time-lapse sequence showing several decades of the donut shop's exterior as it weathered and changed across its existence. Across each of our individual paintings, outfits change, car styles progress, and time marches on, but Superior Donuts always remains.
